Pay Codes - Retirement

The NHRS Type specifies how the pay should be reported to retirement. The reportable retirement groupings are:

  • Base Salary

  • Compensation Over Base Salary

  • Extra or Special Duty Pay

If the NHRS Type is left blank, the earnings will be included and reported as "Base Pay". Earnings set up as exempt from retirement or having an NHRS Type of "Not Reportable" will not be included.

To access the Applicant User Defined Table screen, select from the Main Menu:

Human Resources->Reference Tables->Payroll->Pay Codes.
