The MO OASIS Report’s new enhancement now allows for multiple period reporting per month

The MO OASIS Report’s new enhancement now allows for multiple period reporting per month for districts.

The report no longer deletes or overrides data for the same month during the second load, addressing issues with enrollment logic.

With the new Period Option, districts can now load data based on the Year + Month + Period combination instead of just Year + Month.

This would allow the district to choose the Period 1 as the 1st half / part of the month, Period 2 as the 2nd half / part of the month and Period 3 is optional and could be used as 3rd part of the month, if needed.

The Hardcopy reports, and electronic files now include data for the Year, Month, and Period combinations.

Examples:

  • Month 1 Period 1 could be May 1, 2024, to May 20, 2024, and Month 1 Period 2 could be May 21, 2024, to May 27, 2024, and Month 1 Period 3 could be May 28, 2024, to May 31, 2024.

  • Month 1 Period 1 could be May 1, 2024, to May 20, 2024; Month 1 Period 2 could be May 21, 2024, to May 31, 2024, and Month 1 Period 3 could be unused.

  • If the district doesn’t need the period logic, they can simply use Period 1 as a default and input the entire month range. Month 1 Period 1 could be May 1, 2024 to May 31, 2024 and Period 2, 3 could be left unused.

Note that the dates should be mutually exclusive and not duplicated so that the load logic works seamlessly.

Note that period 1 will be defaulted for the already existing data, and all the reports can be generated seamlessly by giving period 1 as the option.
