STAR Staff Licensed Assignment Upload
STAR (Staff Automated Reporting) is a web-based system used by school districts to report employment and assignment information. Schools must provide licensed employees with the required assignment codes to determine the assignments a licensed educator is authorized to perform.
Use this page to upload a file containing the required licensed assignments. For more information, refer to the Staff Automated Reporting (STAR) section of the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board website.
Menu path
From the Human Resources menu, select State. From the State - MN menu, select STAR Staff Licensed Assignment Upload.
Upload licensed assignment details
On the MN STAR Staff Report - Licensed Assignment Upload page, select the Load Date.
Select Choose File to select the file location that contains the licensed assignments.
Select PDF or Excel.
Select Create, and then Yes.
If the upload data already exists, select Yes to delete and re-upload the data.
Save the upload report file and select OK.
Navigate to the file location.
Inspect the file. Update data if needed.
Repeat these steps until all required data is uploaded.
After uploading the file containing the required licensed assignments, the data is displayed on the employee’s Assignments page.
