The following table lists the Louisiana State Reporting reports created in the application, a brief description and the timeline for the submission of the report. Additionally, we list the state document that the Louisiana State Reporting software was written to adhere to, if applicable.

LA Annual Sick Leave Report

This report is used to submit the TRSL (Teachers Retirement System of Louisiana) Sick Leave (SL) Data input file.

This file can be submitted annually at the end of each fiscal year for prior fiscal year sick leave data and at any time for any back

years sick leave data.

LA Extended Leave Report

This report is used to assist in the preparation of the LA Annual Sick Leave Report.

LA Profile of Educational Personnel (LAPEP Report)


The purpose of the Profile of Educational Personnel (PEP) is to provide information of individual personnel working in Louisiana public schools. The information includes demographic information, professional qualifications, job assignment and compensation, employment status, professional improvement program (PIP) salary information, and non-attendance data.

There are three reporting periods in PEP. During budgeted (snapshot as of October 1st), school districts are required to submit LEA staff counts and budgeted salaries. During LEADS (snapshot as of October 1st), school districts are required to submit highly qualified information and class schedules. During EOY (also called End of Year, or EOY), school districts are required to submit LEA staff counts, actual salary and Highly qualified (HQ) updates.

LA Highly Qualified Teacher Report

This report extracts data for the LEADS (Louisiana Educational Accountability Data System) submission and EOY LA PEP High Qualified updates

The LEADS October submission is done after the LAPEP Budget submission to the same web portal.

LA Quarterly Wage Report

This report provides quarterly unemployment wage information to the Louisiana Workforce Commission.

LA Retirement Deductions

This report is used to submit Retiree Insurance Deduction Updates to the TRSL.

The recommended frequency is once a month.

LA Retirement – Employee List

The Employee List is used to submit the TRSL School Food Service (SFS) Board Election File – Transaction Layout,used in compiling a list of eligible voters for the School Food Service Trustee position in the yearly  TRSLBoard of Trustee elections.

LA Retirement Report - Annual

This report  provides earnings information to the TRSL. This file must include all payeespaid by the employer, including payroll, accounts payable and 1099 payments.

This module also creates the TRSL January Return to Work (ACT 921) file and the House and Senate Retirement Committee Return to Work (Act 921) File (Louisiana Rehire Reports).

State law requires employers to report certain information to TRSL each year within 45 days after June 30.The deadline is August 15.

The Louisiana Rehire Reports are due to TRSL and the House and Senate Retirement Committees after January 1st.

LA Retirement Report - Monthly

The monthly contributions report  submitted to TRSL (Teacher Retirement Systems of Louisiana) provides salaries earned and contributions paid by TRSL members. Reports are required for each of the TRSL retirement plans: Plan A, Plan B, and the Regular Plan.


Contributions reports are due in at TRSL within 15 calendar days after the end of the month covered by thereport.

This utility updates the Years Employed, Years in State, and Years in Total fields in the Employee Information page, Employment tab.
