Race Codes

Iowa does not have state-specific race codes. Multi-racial identification accommodates BEDS' new requirements for reporting ethnicity and race (including possible multiple-race data).

Set Up Race Codes

Before generating reports, ensure that you set up valid race codes on the Race Code Table page.

1. On the application start page, choose Menu, then choose Human Resources.

2. Select Reference Tables, then choose Race Codes.

3. Specify the search criteria to find the required race codes and click Find.

4. To add a record, click Add New. 

5. Specify valid information in the required fields. Click OK. 

6. To edit a record, double-click the relevant record.

7. To delete a record, click Delete. Click Yes.
