EFIN-88502CT State Reporting Changes - Latest Specification

The Connecticut Department of Labor (CTDOL) is transitioning to a modern unemployment insurance system and requires the districts to report wages and taxes in a new file format. This modification allows users to submit the file in the updated format for FTP filers with the following:

  1. The Quarterly Wage Report is in .txt format with a 276 fixed character length (updated as per the latest specification). In the old specification, the S record was limited to 177 characters.)

  2. Each file that contains wages will have one S record per reportable employee followed by a T record for the Employer.
