Account Structure

Account Structure is a base feature for 21.4 and includes the following items:

• The option to input account numbers based on components connected with dashes or dots. The account structure can be customized to fit district needs.

• The account structure applies to the following modules:

  • Fund Accounting

  • Purchasing

  • Payroll

  • Student Activities

  • PCard

  • Budget Preparation (limited options)

• Entry screens and reports are updated to handle the new account structure.

• Titles have been added to Expenditure, Revenue, and General Ledgers. Each ledger record can have a unique title.

• The Balance Sheet has been expanded beyond Fund and Account. Lower levels, such as Organization and Fund Source, can be tracked.

• New options have been added to the Fund Accounting profile to set up the account structure.

• The ability to search for accounts by segment.

The original release of the Alabama state tax calculation truncated the pennies rather than keeping pennies. This has been corrected.
